POWDERED, LIQUID OR CREAM BLUSHES?
First off, let’s talk about the differences between powdered, liquid and cream blushes. Obviously they all serve the same purpose -adding a pop of color to our cheeks- but not all of them offer the same finished look. That’s why it’s important to choose your blush based on the type of makeup you're aiming for.
For a natural rosy complexion: Opt for a liquid blush. It's a very lightweight formula and the way it blends graciously on the skin will give the illusion of naturally flushed cheeks.
For a dewy look: If your goal is a perfect summer glow, go for cream or stick blushes. They sort of have the same effect as highlighters, but with a little less sparkle and a lot more natural shine.
For a full glam or matte look: Powdered blushes should be your best bet. It gives the skin a nicer polished finish.
In second place, it’s useful to keep in mind your skin type and conditions before applying blush. For instance, powdered blushes are great for oily skin because they help remove and absorb excess oil. On the other hand, liquid and creamy blushes are ideal for normal to dry skin types because of their moisturizing properties.
Additionally, remember to note where you're headed to. Powdered blushes are great for formal events or a night out with the girls, while liquid and cream options are best for beach days and brunch dates.
